Delicious food and great service!

Lovely food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff!!

Very enjoyable meal. Particularly appreciated that they had extended the range of gluten free options as I’m a coeliac. I mentioned it last time we ate here. The staff are lovely and an all round great evening. Was a little chilly when we arrived.

My wife and I had a lovely meal , I had the roast topside of beef she had the nut roast , the food was excellent , the dining experience was unrushed and very relaxed , we will definitely be back , if I’d got one gripe it was a tad chilly downstairs, next time I’ll put my jumper on just in case

We arrived at 6:30 to a near empty restaurant and were greeted warmly and taken downstairs to a low ceilinged basement room where there was a group of about 6 people and a table of two others. It was noisy and dank and in contrast to the beautiful restaurant at ground level, I was dumbstruck as to why we would be put down there? I asked to be moved upstairs. We were put on a table next to the door, despite there being 5 nicer tables all empty? This all ruined our night. Food ok, meagre burgers.

Firstly we loved the decor, the downstairs seating area is really cozy. We had the Sunday roast, which was very yummy, the perfect amount of gravy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would happily go back.
